This week, we had our first summative assessment, while also continuing our discussions about CSS 2.
We also discussed class selectors, span tags, and div styling in CSS 2. These topics helped me understand how different parts of a webpage can be targeted and styled instead of treating everything the same way.

A class selector is used to give an HTML element a specific name or label so we can style it using CSS.

A span is used when we want to style or change a small part of the text or content without affecting the whole section.

On the other hand, a div is used as a container to group different elements together, such as text, images, or other parts of a webpage.
One thing that really stuck with me this week was when Sir Peralta told us to be early. And honestly? I think that hit me personally. I had already noticed that I was usually late for our first subject, so hearing Sir tell us to come early felt like a little reminder that I really needed to fix that habit. Maybe I was getting too comfortable with the schedule, or maybe I just wasn't used to waking up that early yet. Either way, I knew it was something I needed to work on.

Aside from that, we continued learning CSS 2 and had our first summative. It felt like another step forward in our ICT journey because we were no longer just getting introduced to CSS—we were starting to be assessed on what we had actually learned. This summative was one that I actually studied for, and I got a 19/25 score. It was not perfect, but I think it was still okay. At least I passed, so I guess all that studying paid off somehow.
